Cast iron skillet with enamel is for extreme resistance to cracking and chipping. Superior heat retention and distribution, heats evenly and slowly; tolerates up to 500 degrees F. Durable enamel/ceramic interior never rusts and offers superb food release; ideal for healthier cooking with little or no added fat/oil. Using harsh detergents are not recommended. Clean it by softening the product in warm water and then removing the residues with a non-scouring sponge.
